A meta/ARG roleplay VTuber experience!

[DISCLAIMER]
'Taiga-tan', 'Karen Kim' and all other people (her mother, her ex-husband etc) are fictional characters, created to perform a meta roleplay VTuber experience or 'kayfabe'.
ALL opinions, thoughts, feelings, actions, backstory, locations, situations or character interactions are roleplayed and are not happening for real. The characters themselves are not real, and most of their interactions are scripted. The performers will remain in-character on all of their social media as well to keep the immersion going.
Please keep in mind before participating with the stream and interacting, that you are seeing a performance and not real people.
You are encouraged to suspend your disbelief and get lost in the story, however if this concept makes you uncomfortable or you are triggered by anything please feel free to block Taiga's socials.

The story and streams will contain: characters arguing with raised voices, themes of depression, romantic breakups, crying, etc.
There will NOT be themes of abuse or danger to any of the characters lives.

The road so far...

- Karen's husband initiated a divorce after 12 years of marriage.
- She moved out of their home into her Mum's house, and set up the basement as her room.

- Her husband dragged his feet with signing the divorce papers, which left Karen without an income for over a year.- With no life skills outside of being a dutiful housewife, Karen became depressed, slept most of the day, and used her free time to trawl the internet. She discovered streaming, VTubers, idols, e-girls and zoomer culture.- She was sponsored by a voice actress called OolayTiger to come up with a mascot for her brand, and to make the costume for promotional purposes.- Karen debuted on Twitch as 'Taiga-tan', and made Partner in less than a month.- Her mental health improved significantly!- Her Mum became slightly frustrated with her NEET lifestyle. She hatched a plan to try to get Karen back together with her husband, by constantly inviting him over for tea.- Her husband was revealed to be named 'Luke' after he crashed one of her livestreams, and they had an argument live on stream in front of her viewers.- She smoothed things over with him, but he expressed discomfort over her 'trampy' internet persona.- Taiga compromised and cut her long wig to try to appease his boundary.

- Luke seemed to be turning over a new leaf; he started being nice to Karen and even bought her a symbolic traditional Maori pendant for christmas, which she started wearing on streams.

- Karen assumed he wanted to get back together, and she announced her excitement to her Twitch chat, who promptly reacted negatively. This caused her to get highly defensive, and she reacted with anger.- She showed up all dressed up to their 'date', chastising her viewers in the process.

- Their 'date' turned out to be Luke finally serving her with the signed divorce papers after 2 years of him refusing to sign.- Devastated, Karen had her final stream as Taiga, abandoning the persona entirely and taking an extended hiatus from social media and streaming.- Karen re-debuted as herself, rebranding and abandoning the Taiga-tan persona.
